At Thinkerbell, we produced a prolific amount of content. Below are projects that, while not large enough to merit their own webpage, were nevertheless impressive enough to win accolades at Best Ads on TV.
→ FUCK OFF JUMPER
The word 'fuck' was uttered over 300 times in Succession. To mark the final season of the show on BINGE, we crafted the 'Fuck Off Jumper.' Each jumper came with a sizable wash tag, featuring 42 scenarios where people might feel inclined to say 'fuck off' in their daily lives. The jumpers became a sensation among influencers, with even Rita Ora sharing hers on social media.
→ OPERA EFFECT
Opera, an art form often overlooked by many Australians despite their iconic opera house, may hold a powerful secret. Historically, opera music was crafted to be erotic—an aphrodisiac created by 17th-century Italians. To test its modern-day impact, we invited 23 couples to experience a performance at the Sydney Opera House. The results were astonishing: 97% of the couples felt more connected afterward. We call this the Opera Effect.
→ SHINE A LIGHT
Suicide stigma persists despite efforts to address it. Lifeline aimed to shine a light on issue of suicide and demonstrate that there is no shame in seeking help. And so, we did just that. We designed posters strategically positioned to allow the light from selected bus shelters to shine through, creating a striking visual representation. In digital OOH, we simulated the flickering of fluorescent lights, symbolising the act of shedding light on the stigma surrounding suicide.
→ CONCEPTION PROMOTION
Koala had launched a new range of baby and kids' bedroom furniture. To celebrate, Thinkerbell created a promotion offering new or expecting parents who conceived on a Koala mattress a deal on the new Joey Cot and Baby Mattress. Koala includes all types of families in this offer, welcoming everyone regardless of how they welcome their new baby.
→ THE ORIGINAL ALL BLACK
In the 2023 Rugby World Cup quarter final, New Zealand’s All Black’s were going up against Ireland - a country synonymous with an all black beer…we couldn’t help ourselves. The spots play on Guinness’ 263 year history of brewing dark beer and leverage their ties with rugby. The creative was supported across social and OOH in the lead up to the Rugby World Cup quarter finals (and yes, they actually ran).
→ OPEN LETTER TO HARRY
oala, Australia's leader in uniquely designed mattresses and furniture, took claims of Harry and Meghan's embarrassment over their décor seriously. In response, Koala and Thinkerbell created a discount code to help them redecorate with royal-worthy furniture. While the offer targeted Harry and Meghan, Aussies can also enjoy the royal treatment.
